This typeface can save a lot of space because it ignores vowels when entering text. If at all needed, you can type a capital letter by using the shift key. That will insert one of the small capitals which also exist for vowels.

This reminds me of something a teacher of mine once told me. He claimed that in the (really) old days, publishers would edit the manuscripts to remove as much punctuation as possible in order to save ink.

It was indeed. But that date passed so quickly that it didn’t get noticed a lot. And it is my font to give away.
