When we were putting up the exhibition of my work at the Bauhaus-Archive in Berlin, Thomas Maier took this photograph of me (ca. 1988) holding up a photograph of me holding up a proof of ITC Correspondence, the face that was later released as ITC Officina.

Argh, what a great picture. Should’ve had it for the write-up on The FontFeed. :-)
Hi Eric,
Being in Australia I unfortunately won’t be able to see this wonderful exhibition of your work. As a final year Graphic Design student I fondly remember seeing you at the AGIdeas conference in 1993, and later chatting afterwards. I love your exhibition poster, where would I get my hands on one?
Mark
Almost the same man on the picture and same passion since 1988. :)
Your fascination for numbers and letters have increased more over time. :)
