At 18:00 today (that is 6pm for some people), our new website edenspiekermann went live. We expect a few days of fixing bugs like typos, wrong or missing links, etc. before we start rewriting most of the copy and re-render all the images. Which would all be bad enough if it weren’t for the fact that we have to do everything in three languages and run it by a dozen people at least, in Amsterdam and Berlin.
If you want to know how the site was built, find glaring mistakes or have other suggestions, write to us. The blog has comments enabled.
Please can we have a link to the site? I tried clicking on the image, but that just took me to the image again. Looks lovely from the image, at least.
Sorry – I published the announcement before I had included the link. It works now and should be obvious at any rate: edenspiekermann.com.
As a name I think Edenspiekermann works better in all lowercase. The cap “E” just seems wrong to me, esp. with no cap “S”.
that’s why we use it in all lowercase, except in direct communication. i.e. letters. The principle we use is called “talking head”. We always follow the header edenspiekermann with a sentence. In letters, that is the subject line; in an invoice it is the amount:
edenspiekermann_
invoice for € 000.00.
the underscore is longer than normally.
What are you using for your CMS?
BTW, I love the site especially the manifesto.
